Read: Are You About Loosing Hope? Avoid Non-Motivating Factors Towards Your Talent, Nollywood Reviled

Motivation is a psychological feature that arouses an organism to act towards a desired goal and elicits, controls, and sustains certain goal-directed behaviors. This article is not written just to tell you about Motivation like you already know, but it’s exposing you to what talent is: for instance taking acting as a case study in line with Nollywood .

You all Nollywood should be a place of reviled talents from individuals of deferent homes. Do you know what talent is? Yes, talent is the potential ability one got either acquired/developed or from birth (follow come, lol). It’s always from the help of some social groups in the person’s origin for example, Church Drama Groups, Departmental Drama Groups and others.
But now what do we see? Nollywood now, is made a place of fame finding and Nudity zone, talented people are left behind to waste while non potential and non talented individuals are being chosen to make a Caricature of their selves and not you and i. Making pornographies is now the “what’s up” as they tag it and forgetting what is called for. We the audience can’t do or change anything but to sit and watch, Let me inform us, we can put a stop to this>You can stop buying such movies and go for more interesting Nollywood movies to watch and not wasting money and time watching crap as if we are here for moon light games.

What do you do when you come across such movie?
I know you will be bold enough to tell friends anytime he/she wants to buy such movies, hey dude; this movie isn’t what you think or how the title sounds, previously when I watched I regretted wasting my time and money, maybe you want to know how I felt?

Do you feel disappointed when you realize you just wasted your money on such movie?
Yes, of course you do. For instance, the day I watched “forbidden fruit” I was mad at what I saw. It would be very nice if it was titled “f**k me hard” to create awareness of what was about happening than giving it  more historical or encouraging name like the literal words I read from Late Chinua Achebe’s books.
Secondly I want to attach an article I read from Linda Ikeji’s blog , she stated how nollywood recently has became a money making arena for the directors and producers.

Nowadays talent is hidden, Maybe you do not know this; in light of recent events, personally I have found out that our nollywood directors collect money from people to fix them in to feature in the movies, okay!, see it this way; what about these people who just got talents but no finance? What are they going to do? Obviously talent is hidden like I mentioned. Who is left to answer the above question? I am not panicking; we are not asking God to help us. It is you who can help solve this problem because some day in the future you will find yourself in that position. What are you going to do? Would you change something? If yes, our youths could be liberated. Don’t be obstacles to someone’s talent, God forbids this.
Lastly I urge you to continue with what you do best, speak what you do well and don’t forget to let people know you are good at what you do, it’s not just boast (ITK) its bragging rights.
