This is specially for you, Nelson Mandela

I shed tears as it seems the future of Africa is lost
As if the hope is d helpless is dashed
As if apartheid will be revived
As if oppression is reactivated
As if man sud be immortal
Zik is no more
Awo is no more
Kwame Nkruma is no more
Sekou Toure is no more
Julius Nyerere is no more
Nelson Mandela again
We are yet to get replacements for the deceased
Now Madiba

You came
You saw
You fought
You conquered
You brought hope
You brought light
Where is the hope of Africa
Where is the hope of Africans
You ruled freely
You accommodated all
Fearless
Perseverance
Courageous
Determined
Altruistic
A revolutionalist
A hero
A gem
Sir, your successors have failed to groom people of like-mind
You fought against racialism
Oppression
Imperialism
Colonialism
Marginalisation
Exploitation
Deprivation
Today, we are faced with neo-colonialism
Egoistic leaders
Anti masses policies
Subjection
Rejection
Segregation
Class structure
Recycling of mediocre
Prosecution of meritocrats
All in our own land
By our own people
They fail to empower us
They fail to educate us
They fail to orientate us
They fail to inform us
They fail to care for us
They fail to employ us
They import policies
Import expatriates
Export our material resources
Share our national cake
My people are dying of ignorance
They use religion to divide us
To reduce our number
Madiba, we love you
You remain forever indelible
In our thought
Memory
Books
Histories
Philosophies
Politics
Your generation
My generation
Rest in peace sir
Africa, take heart
Africans, wake up from your slumber
Mandela is gone
He has done his part
He lives on
Develop the madelaistic part in you
God bless us
Forever Young
Days of my youth filled with experience
Experience of slavery it was
Seen how my people suffered apartheid
No one to help; felt dejected
But I always promise something
To be forever young
Souls damaged under discrimination
Children studied with no assimilation
Brutality becomes normality
In the presence of Native Royalty
But I always promise something
To be forever young
Racism painted our flags red
Farmers farmed to be survived
By children that know no hope
Even with the presence of World's pope
But I always promise something
To be forever young
Forever young was my aim
When I stood to fight the flame
Brought on us by apartheid
In the land of our Beloved
But I always promise something
To be forever young
I've fought the good fight
Was like the Python's bite
Even with the eternal pain
In our domain we have unending gain
But I always promise something
To be forever young
Now, I must join the ancestors
To sit and look for investors
In the land of my survival
To renew it with revival
Without gainsaying,
Always in your heart
Am forever young!
