the second daughter of Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka is dead, aged 48. Ms Soyinka,

confirming the sad news was released on Sunday, December 29, 2013 by Soyinka’s
close aide Jahman
Anikulapo (former Editor of the Guardian) on behalf of the family. She died at the University of Ibadan Teaching Hospital
after a brief illness leaving

Anikulapo
described Iyetade as an ‘affable, intelligent and sometimes capricious’ lady
who ‘struggled with her health in recent years’.
Burial
arrangements have not been announced yet.
